This is so good. I just put it on repeat and do my work. It’s so relaxing. You will appreciate it more if you know the original but it’s amazing no matter what.

Karma Police by Radiohead (Cover by Thomas Morgan)

Came home to find 91 shows in my Hulu queue. That’s the real reason I love vacation.

I wish I could make a music video like this….

Americanarama by Hollerado

Good thing I am alone because my attempts to sing along at pathetic and embarassing.

Pala Tute by Gogol Bordello

Janice Orr: “I am sure that the majority of the people in Las Vegas are back in their hotel rooms by 11 o’ clock.”

Finally home from vacation but I stumbled across this song in my music library and now I want to go to San Francisco again….

It’s shit like this….

All My Days - Alexi Murdoch

I received a lot of funny looks when I told people I was missing three days of school and going to Nevada and Utah. People can’t grasp the concept of going somewhere unique for vacation instead of sitting next to the hotel pool with their iPhone in their hand. Although I do like to relax, there’s something to be said about going off the beaten path by 100 miles or so, and then getting out of your car and walking another 15. In the past two days, I have been awe struck by what can be found in the US and how little people have actually experienced it. I don’t know if its because people don’t realize what’s actually out here or if they are uncomfortable dropping their phones and computers and going somewhere new where you need to sweat and get a little dirty to fully experience it. While hiking, my parents asked me which of my friends would actually be willing to do what we were doing and I never really came up with an answer. I know that if they were already out here and seeing the sights, they would enjoy it but none of them would take the initiative to do it themselves. I know I sound like a nagging grandpa but no one seems to enjoy anything outdoor anymore and that blows.

Whoa, my first actual blog post.
